Rutter’s announces charitable contributions totaling $204,000 to 30 organizations
Rutter’s has announced charitable donations totaling $204,000 to 30 organizations. These donations – in addition to previously announced contributions totaling $56,500 to 11 food pantries – bring Rutter’s total 2009 giving to $260,000. Rutter’s and employees donate toys to Salvation Army, Mont Alto Volunteer Fire Dept.
The contributions of Rutter’s and its employees will boost area toy drives this holiday season. The Salvation Army of York and the Mont Alto Volunteer Fire Department in Franklin County shared 175 toys collected at Rutter’s annual holiday banquet. Each charity also received $650 from Rutter’s for the purchase of more toys. ###
