Last week I had the opportunity to sit down with one of Rutter’s premier deli managers, Brian Anthony. I spoke with Brian about his job with Rutter’s, managing the deli at our new Wrightsville location, Rutter’s Store #4.
Brian was hired, two years ago, as a Roving Deli Manager, a job that he enjoyed: “I got to see a lot of different people, a lot of different managers, a lot of different concepts of stores. So I did, I enjoyed it, it prepared me very well for this store.” When the Wrightsville store was finished construction, Brian was offered the option to settle down. He took it.
Brian joins us from managing at a restaurant for 13 years. “Our deli is big enough that it’s not a ‘deli’ to me, I came from a restaurant, so that’s what it is more like.”
Currently, Rutter’s is hiring for a position much like Brian’s. Roving Deli Managers are needed. If you feel you have the drive and dedication to excel in such a position please apply!
