Rutter’s Plants Roots in Blair County

Today, we opened our 1st store in Blair county and our 68th store location! The new Rutter’s is located at 935 Plank Road in Duncansville, a suburb of Altoona, PA.

The Duncansville Rutter’s is 7,850 square feet and has 16 auto fueling stations and 5 dedicated high-speed truck diesel bays. The new Rutter’s will employ 50 team members and operate 24 hours a day, all year long.  The store features an award-winning food and beverage menu, a dining area with room to seat 30 guests, free Wi-Fi, and world class convenience.  The new store also has an application in for a beer license, and hopes to soon open the world-famous Rutter’s “29-degree Beer Cave” with an extensive selection of domestic, premium, craft, and import brands.

“We are excited to open another location in a new county, and market area.  Customers have requested we expand into the Altoona area for years, and we are glad we can continue to make it happen with another new store opening” said Derek Gaskins, Rutter’s Chief Customer Officer.

There will be a Grand Opening event on Thursday, July 20th from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Delicious food samples, promotional giveaways, and much more will be available for attendees.

Rutter’s Opens New Store in Lebanon County

We kicked off our 2017 store growth by planting our first roots in Lebanon County. The new Rutter’s opened Friday, May 5th and is located at 798 West Main Street in South Annville Township. This is our 67th location.

The 7,500 square foot store has 16 auto fueling stations and 4 dedicated high speed truck diesel bays. This location features our award winning food and world class convenience. Hand-crafted beverages, such as tea smoothies, gourmet frappes, and lattes will be served in the espresso bar and beverage station. It will employ 50 team members, and be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.

There will be a Grand Opening event on Thursday, May 11th from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Delicious food samples, promotional giveaways, and much more will be available for attendees.

Rutter’s Donates to 2 Local Food Organizations to Feed Over 150 Families at Christmas

On December 14th, we hosted the Grand Opening of our newest store in Strasburg, PA! During the ribbon cutting ceremony, we donated $4,000 to local charities.  Each organization received $1,000.  Recipients were the Food Pantry in the First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, which will use the contribution to provide 80 families food for Christmas, the Solanco Food Bank, which will use the donation for 75 Christmas meal boxes, Strasburg Borough Police Department, and the Strasburg Fire Company #1.

This is our fourth location in Lancaster County and our 66th store. State Representative Keith Greiner, Strasburg Borough Mayor Henry Miller, and many Strasburg Borough Council Officials attended this Grand Opening.  The Strasburg location is currently in the process to feature one of our Beer Caves. The 29 degree Beer Cave will be stocked with a variety of craft, import, and domestic beers and ciders available in singles, 6 and 12 packs inside.

Rutter’s Donates to Local Food Pantry to Feed 100 Families at Christmas

On November 1st, 2016, we hosted the Grand Opening of our newest store in Hamburg, PA. During the ribbon cutting ceremony, we donated $3,000 to local charities.  Each organization received $1,000.  Recipients were the Hamburg Police Department, the Union Fire Company No. 1 of Hamburg, and the Northern Berks Food Pantry, which will use the contribution to provide 100 families hams for Christmas.

This is our 65th location and is the first Rutter’s store in Berks County. Attendees at the event included Congressman Charlie Dent, State Representative Jerry Knowles and State Senator David Argall.  The Hamburg Rutter’s will be the first convenience store in Berks county to sell beer.  The 29 degree Rutter’s Beer Cave will be stocked with a variety of craft, import, and domestic beers and ciders available in singles, 6 and 12 packs inside.

Rutter’s to Host Grand Opening of Mercersburg Location

Rutter’s is having their Grand Opening event of their Mercersburg location on Tuesday, October 11th from 2-4pm.

The Rutter’s in Mercersburg is located at 378 North Main Street. Customers will be able to stop by and try samples from Rutter’s award-winning food menu, gourmet coffee bar, Rutter’s dairy products, and snag some giveaways. This location is also the first Rutter’s to have a Beer Cave. A variety of craft, import, and domestic beers and ciders will be available in singles and 6 packs. The Beer Cave also comes in at a low 29 degrees to already give customers chilled beer.

“With each one of our new stores, we like to have a Grand Opening event to be able to interact with our customers. This Grand Opening will also be a first for us to have a Beer Cave. We believe this is a great opportunity for customers to come out and see the convenience Rutter’s is able to provide for them,” said Derek Gaskins, Rutter’s Chief Customer Officer.

Our newest  and largest store, located in York Springs just 10 miles north of Gettysburg, PA, opened its doors today, Monday, December 14.

It is our 61st store and the third Rutter’s location in Adams County, PA.

The 11.5 acre site boasts 7 high-speed truck diesel fueling spaces, 14 fueling lanes for gas and auto diesel, 23 truck parking spaces, located right off the Heidlersburg, East Berlin exit on Pennsylvania Route 15.

Inside the store there is a 36 person seating area for customers to enjoy a slew of famous Rutter’s offerings including the award-winning food menu, gourmet coffee bar, free Wi-Fi, and Rutter’s dairy products.

The large restrooms are designed to be state of the art to accommodate both the interstate traveler as well as local patrons. It also offers a dedicated road travel accessories area to accommodate truck drivers.
