Rutter’s Donates to Local Food Pantry to Feed 100 Families at Christmas
On November 1st, 2016, we hosted the Grand Opening of our newest store in Hamburg, PA. During the ribbon cutting ceremony, we donated $3,000 to local charities. Each organization received $1,000. Recipients were the Hamburg Police Department, the Union Fire Company No. 1 of Hamburg, and the Northern Berks Food Pantry, which will use the contribution to provide 100 families hams for Christmas.
This is our 65th location and is the first Rutter’s store in Berks County. Attendees at the event included Congressman Charlie Dent, State Representative Jerry Knowles and State Senator David Argall. The Hamburg Rutter’s will be the first convenience store in Berks county to sell beer. The 29 degree Rutter’s Beer Cave will be stocked with a variety of craft, import, and domestic beers and ciders available in singles, 6 and 12 packs inside.
We want to thank everyone that was able to make it out to our event!
