Make it a Meal!

It’s safe to say that since we introduced the walking taco to our menu in late March, its popularity has skyrocketed. You could say that the walking taco is off and running!

It’s been very popular in since we introduced it in late March, and many of you told us that the only thing you’d change about our walking taco is to make it larger so there’d be more of it to love.

Well, we love getting feedback from our customers, because we use the feedback to make changes, upgrades and additions. The meal-sized walking taco is no exception!

Our hugely popular snack time, safe-for-eating-in- a- white-shirt, eat-with-a-fork, walking tacos are available in meal-sized portions.

Run, don’t walk, to Rutter’s today!

Walk on the Wild Side!

We could’ve called it a Perfect Taco, because it is the perfect combination of so many delicious ingredients. We could’ve called it a No-Mess Taco because you can eat one and not worry about spilling on your shirt like you do with traditional taco shells. But, in the end, we decided to call it what folks around Central PA have called it for years, The Walking Taco!

We’ve introduced the Walking Taco to our menu, and although you may have tasted a walking taco on a chilly night at a high school football game, you’ve never tasted one quite like ours.

Like the rest of our menu, each Walking Taco will be made fresh with each order. You can make your taco any way you like using this list of toppings:

  • Taco meat
  • Lettuce
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Onion
  • Black Olives
  • Diced Tomatoes
  • Jalapeno Peppers
  • Salsa
  • Hot Sauce

Extra meat, extra cheese and sour cream can all be added for a small additional charge. Served in a 1oz. bag of Doritos, the Walking Taco is also served with possibly the most important addition: a fork!

The easy to eat treat is perfect for a quick bite over lunch without worrying about traditional taco explosion, shell breakage or spillover.

Walk on over to your nearest Rutter’s and try our NEW Walking Taco! We can’t wait to hear what you think!
